Paper Banks

Babergh and Did Suffolk District Council has advised that paper bank collections in the districts will stop.
The contractor/collectors have advised that it is no longer viable for them to continue with the service.
As such, they will shortly begin removing the banks from sites.
The District Council is exploring if possible alternative schemes could provide a cost effective solution,
and will, of course, keep our towns and parishes updated on developments.
However, in the meantime, we continue to recycle paper and cardboard widely across Suffolk,
through residents’ kerbside recycling collections – where we will also collect additional dry, flattened,
cardboard left beside recycling bins, and at local recycling centres.
